Now, simply go through and find something you / your Mom would like. Click on “See All” (tiny text link on the top right) to get the full listing. You’ll need to scroll down just a bit to find the section “Full Length Episodes”: Click on it and the most popular episodes will be shown. In particular the word “Free” should jump out in Free TV Episodes. Now, a close look at the options on the right side reveals the following quick links: Start by going to the iTunes Store and clicking on “TV” along the top choices. Let’s start by looking for some free TV episodes, then I’ll show you how to enable closed captioning for the show we choose. Lots of movies and most TV shows have captions, so it’s fairly common to find. In addition, it’s easy to enable close captioning on iTunes content if it includes the “CC” emblem that denotes it includes the separate text information that’s sync’ed to the content. Your taste will doubtless vary from what your Mom is going to find acceptable. Okay! Let me answer these backwards, because Apple’s iTunes Store does have quite a lot of free content if you know how to look for it, including most premiere episodes of TV series, whether they’re good shows or bad.
